transforming workspaces into productive places
We removed all the existing walls in the area to open up the space, building a small stud wall to house a TV and using acoustic panels to create a separate space shielded from the main office. Using a combination of furniture – high poseur tables with stools, built in booth seating with integrated tables plus soft seating areas and dining spaces – we created a multifunctional space that can be used in a number of ways. Acoustic ceiling baffles and contemporary light fittings added splashes of colour to the space.
The kitchen included built in appliances, modern cabinetry, a feature wall in addition to a breakfast bar with seating for seven, serving as a natural divide between the spaces.
In addition, on the ground floor of the building, we waved the IOP magic wand and gave an existing space a new lease of life. The refreshed room featured a new contemporary styled kitchenette with modern glazed subway tile splashback, soft seating areas and a modern media unit featuring built in storage and an integrated poseur height table with stools. The space serves as both a breakout space for staff and a place for an informal catch up away from the main office space.

We took an existing area on the 1st floor of Martello Court that consisted of staff workspaces and a separate private office and transformed it into a vibrant, modern breakout space for Intertrust staff complete with a full kitchen and breakfast bar seating.
